THE PROJECT MEETING

To plan the activities for the second year of project on European Citizenship we met in Sosnowiec, Poland at the V Liceum Ogòlnoksztalcace. The Polish school runs courses on European studies and has a well furnished room where students can find documents and leaflets about the EU.

Per progettare le attività del secondo anno di progetto sulla cittadinanza europea ci siamo incontrati a Sosnowiec in Polonia al V Liceum Ogòlnoksztalcace. La scuola polacca propone corsi di studio sull'Europa ed è provvista di una aula attrezzata dove si possono reperire documenti e brochure informative sui programmi europei.

Besides pupils' exchanges we planned to experiment the independent learning method about the EU in all partner schools.

Oltre agli scambi di studenti abbiamo definito le scadenze per l'attuazione del metodo di apprendimento autonomo sull'UE in tutte le scuole partner

The visit that most hit even those of us who had already been there was the one to the concentration camps of Auschwitz and Birkenau, located not far from Sosnowiec. Not only the site hits for the feeling of sufference that exudes but also for the large number of visitors that silently walk through the paths thus showing the will not to forget the horrors

La visita che ha più colpito anche coloro tra noi che già erano stati li è stata quella ai campi di concentramento di Auschwitz e Birkenau, situati a breve distanza da Sosnowiec. Non solo colpisce il luogo per l'aura di sofferenza che emana ma anche per il grande numero di visitatori che in silenzio camminano per i viali testimoniando così la volontà di non dimenticare gli orrori
